"Nativity" Charity Auction Details:
There are thousands of deserving charities out there, but after careful consideration and research I have chosen four that I am confident
will use the money wisely. If you win the auction, you can choose which charity will get the donation, or I can choose for you. Or you can spread it out equally between all four. Three charities are lesser known, so I felt a donation would have a greater impact for them, and the last charity is widely known and reputable. All are for a good cause.
I have no personal affiliation with any of these charities,
I found them through research and recommendation.

"Care Bags 4 Kids"
: Care Bags Foundation is a legal, 501(c)3 nonprofit charitable organization which provides Care Bags filled with new essential, helpful, fun, safe, and age appropriate items for children and youth (ages baby-18 yrs.) who are in need. Annie Wignall founded the organization in Jan. 2000 when she was eleven years old. She got the idea to start this project after she learned there were lots of kids in crisis situations who have to leave their homes with very few of their own belongings. Run 100% by volunteers,
Ca
re Bags 4 Kids has helped to brighten the lives of over 14,000 displaced, abused, and disadvantaged children worldwide!
How will the donation be used? This orga
nization is 100% volunteer with no paid staff, so all donations go directly
to assist the deserving kids
the organizaion serves.

"Max's Lemonade Stand":
Max's Lemonade Stand is a legal, 501(c)3 nonprofit charitable organization with the objective to bring awareness while providing resources to fund breast cancer research, finding a cure for breast cancer. After his mother's best friend died of breast cancer in 2003, Max Igoe decided he wanted to do something in memory of the woman he called 'Auntie Beth.'
So, the 6-year-old decided to raise money for the City of Hope cancer center in Duarte in the best way he knew how to -
by opening a lemonade stand! Max's goal is to raise 1 million dollars
to help find a cure for breast cancer.

How will the donation be used?
This organization is 100% volunteer with no paid staff, so all donations go to raise money for breast cancer research
(through research organizations such as "City of Hope"), to provide wigs to to those who cannot afford them, and to offer scholarships for children who have lost a parent to breast cancer.
