"Baby Mayliana" is the second sculpture in my series of "Silver Spoon Babies"

She is curled up, sound asleep in the bowl of a beautiful antique Solid Sterling Silver Baby Spoon! So tiny and sweet, this newly born baby is a fresh contrast to the aged, yet elegant antique baby spoon. Two tiny treasures!

Baby Mayliana is completely sculpted out of polymer clay. She has a beautiful, soft skintone which is the result of drybrushing, highlighting, and shading with various shades of heat-set oils, and her rosy lips are also painted with heat-set oils.

She has light blonde English Viscose hair which has been applied lock by lock and gently curled. Mayliani has the sweetest little face, a chubby baby belly, and all the details of a real baby girl.

The elegant yet simple "Lullaby Sterling" Sterling Silver Spoon has been polished to a bright shine, and Baby Mayliana is completely removable from the spoon to allow for future polishing.

Mayliana is a bit bigger than my 1:12 Scale Dollhouse Miniature Babies although she is still tiny - she would measure a mere 2.75 inches if laying flat, and the spoon measures 3.5 in length. She is my first baby ever sculpted in this particular position, inspired by one of Anne Gedde's beautiful photographs.

Mayliana is signed underneath and will also bring along a Photo Certificate of Authenticity.
